Taylor Lewis
Chef Taylor Lewis has been baking since before she could reach the counter top. Her sweet tooth has inspired decades of baking before she stepped into a professional kitchen.
After attending culinary school at George Brown College, and deepening her passion for the savoury side of things, Taylor launched her professional culinary career in kitchens across the city of Toronto.
Taylor has kept herself busy in many kitchens, working for restaurants, catering companies, and bakeries over the past 10+ years. During her time working for the Drake, Taylor excelled at training others and honed her skills as a culinary instructor before developing and delivering baking lessons in her downtime.
Over the past 7 years, Taylor has devoted herself to teaching aspiring chefs and bakers of all ages. She spent 2 years focusing on children’s culinary education, developing hundreds of recipes and lesson plans designed to inspire. Her background as both a savoury and pastry chef influence her flavours in the kitchen. With her latest venture, Sweet Side Hustle, Taylor wants to share her passion for food and flavour, and encourage everyone to get cooking in their own kitchens.
